Are the blossoming flower fields of Japan part of your travel bucket list? If time, money, and visa are the only issues, then, you don’t have to cross any international border to see one! Heck, you won’t even need to travel for 5 hours to see one in Baguio.
Located less than 3 hours away from Metro Manila, Bukid Amara, Lucban, Quezon is probably one of the most jaw-dropping spots here in our backyard.
For only P150 for a regular day pass, P120 for Senior Citizen, PWD and Students you can enjoy the stunning view! Plus if you have a child on board if he/she is 6 years old and below the fee is free of charge! Talk about being family friendly huh?
Bukid Amara is a 2.5 hectare field with landscaping inspired by the renowned artist of rural Philippine landscapes, Fernando Amorsolo.
Bukid Amara is an absolute beauty when it blossomed its petals to the public, the colorful diversity of flowers and other crops, kubo, and fish pond will surely make your followers double tap in every photo that you will post in your grid, also if the clouds permit, you can also see Mount Banahaw.
Aside from admiring the beauty of the flowers, you can also eat them! Yes, you read that right, it’s edible!
If you’re an Instagram Stories abuser then the fish pond’s short pier is perfect for you! For the more adventurous ones then you can go fishing and have a chill ride in the balsa.
Plantitas and Plantitos won’t be forgotten as you guys can visit the Greenhouses as they also practice hydroponics. They have a variety of plants for all to enjoy.
When you’re done with taking photos, videos and eating plants you can go to their cafe and try their flower based foods and drinks.
Although Bukid Amara is not as cold as the highlands in Baguio and the Mountain Province, they have a milder, cooler climate as it’s located above sea level.
