In an exclusive report released by Sports Seoul on September 21st, it was revealed that YG Entertainment and the BLACKPINK members are in the final stages of negotiations for a unique contract arrangement that keeps them "separated yet united."
Initially, the report indicated that Ros&eacute; was the sole member who opted to renew her contract with YG Entertainment. But the remaining three members declined YG Entertainment's renewal offers while expressing their commitment to continue their activities as part of BLACKPINK.

Under the proposed adjusted contract from YG Entertainment, members represented by external labels will participate in BLACKPINK's group activities for six months annually. Sports Seoul reported that negotiations for this revised contract are nearing completion for the other three members.
However, YG Entertainment denied the rumors and made a statement on the same day that nothing has been confirmed yet and negotiations are still in process. Stories and rumors surrounding the idol&rsquo;s contract are floating everywhere.

It also appears that Jisoo, who is expected to expand her career in acting, and Lisa, a prominent star in the Southeast Asian market, have both agreed to exclusive contract offers worth substantial sums, measured in tens of billions of Korean Won (equivalent to tens of millions in USD). Notably, both Jisoo and Lisa have chosen to sign with South Korean companies for their representation.

It's important to note that the report did not provide any further details regarding Jennie's future plans. During BLACKPINK's 'Born Pink' encore finale concert in Seoul on September 17th, Jennie reassured fans, saying, "We will continue to be the BLACKPINK you love," hinting at the group's determination to remain together.
