In the latest episode of Hangover released on March 12, Wiji addressed rumors that he is a “power tripper” within the group 6ENSE.

During the conversation, Wiji shared that his strict attitude during rehearsals may have been misunderstood. “Feeling ko, na-misinterpret 'yung pagiging strict ko,” he said, explaining that rehearsals can be fun, but things become serious when a performance is coming up and the group still has a lot to prepare.

He added that they are working as a team and sometimes need to be serious when necessary. Wiji also said he does not feel “powerful enough to trip a power” and does not know where the accusation started.

The members even joked that maybe one of them has a dump account spreading the rumors. Another member, Axis, said someone in the group needs to be strict so they can continue improving together.

Wiji also emphasized that his goal is simply to create something good for the group. He clarified that being strict is not the same as power tripping, adding that feeling anger is just an emotion and does not make someone a bad person.

6ENSE currently features a new lineup, with Wiji as the group’s only original member while the rest of the members joined later.
