The Philippines has long been one of The Script’s most enthusiastic markets. Over the years, the band has returned several times, consistently attracting large audiences.
Danny O'Donoghue, the frontman, added that performing in the Philippines feels special because local audiences sing along passionately and in harmony. He jokingly compared concertgoers to a choir, highlighting the country’s strong singing culture and love for karaoke, which continue to make each visit memorable for the band.
The Script adds third Manila concert after first two shows sell out
The Script is set to give Filipino fans another chance to see them live after announcing a third Manila concert for their upcoming ‘Man in the Arena’ tour. The newly added show is scheduled for March 20, 2027, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
The additional date was confirmed after tickets for the band's first two performances on March 18 and 19 sold out quickly. According to the Irish pop-rock group, overwhelming fan support and strong ticket demand prompted the decision to extend their Manila stop.
