Taylor Swift's album "The Tortured Poets Department (TTPD)&rdquo; has made history by becoming her twelfth number one album in the United Kingdom, surpassing The Beatles as the fastest artist to achieve this milestone.

The album had the biggest opening week in the UK in seven years and also tied Madonna for the most United Kingdom number one albums by a female artist.
The album's success extended globally, topping charts in Australia and expected to do the same in the United States. Swift's single "Fortnight," featuring Post Malone, also topped the UK singles chart.

TTPD was the most streamed album in a day on Spotify and Amazon Music upon its release and became Spotify's most-streamed album in a week with over 1 billion streams.
