Talks are in the works for Taiwan's very own Digital Nomad Visa. Although details are still being finalized, the National Development Council (NDC) is pushing to make this dream a reality soon. Imagine spending up to six months in Taiwan, seamlessly blending work and travel, and soaking in everything this beautiful island has to offer.

The NDC aims to attract 120,000 foreign talents by 2028, including 10,000 digital nomads. According to NDC Minister Paul Liu, this new visa will allow remote workers to stay in Taiwan for three months with the option to extend for another three months. This initiative aims to boost the local economy and create a dynamic, international community within Taiwan&rsquo;s borders.

Currently, Filipino digital nomads enjoy a 14-day visa-free stay in Taiwan, while tourists can stay for up to three months with a tourist visa. The new digital nomad visa will provide a more stable and longer-term solution for those looking to immerse themselves in Taiwanese culture and lifestyle.
