Rising OPM star Rob Deniel has officially released his full version of Ogie Alcasid’s timeless hit 'Ikaw Sana.' The song first gained buzz after the singer performed it at a recent music awards show, where his heartfelt rendition captured the attention of many listeners.

Since then, Ogie Alcasid’s original track has seen a surge in streams, recently reaching over three million plays on Spotify. Many fans believe Rob’s emotional cover played a big part in bringing the classic back into the spotlight.

“Binigyan ako ng tribute ng Wish, they gave me an award. Before they give the award— may kakanta ng song mo. It was Rob. Ang galing ng pagkanta niya. A few months after, it went viral. Eh, wala siya recording noon, so they went to my Spotify. Bigla sumipa from 500 to 700, now 3.3 million,” he explained.

Rob isn’t slowing down anytime soon. This December, he is set to headline his RAAAA concert with Amiel Sol, Adie, and Arthur Nery.
