Rey Valera brings OPM classics to six US cities for November concert tour
November 3, 2026

OPM legend Rey Valera is set to bring his timeless music and celebrated musical legacy to Filipino audiences in the United States through his upcoming concert tour, ‘Istorya ni Rey Valera: Live in USA,’ scheduled to visit six cities throughout November 2026.

The tour will give Filipino music fans abroad an opportunity to revisit the singer-songwriter’s beloved compositions, which have touched hearts and helped shape Original Pilipino Music across generations.

The concert series kicked off in Chicago, Illinois, on November 1 at the 19th Century Club in Oak Park. Valera will continue to Portland, Oregon, for a November 6 performance at The Old Church Concert Hall, followed by a November 7 show at the Warren Consolidated School of Performing Arts in Sterling Heights, Michigan.

The tour will then head to Los Angeles, California, on November 13 at the First Unitarian Church, before reaching Tampa, Florida, on November 15 at the Bayanihan Center for the Performing Arts.

Its final stop will be at The Palace Queens in Woodside, New York, on November 17.

Beyond celebrating Valera’s enduring musical legacy, the concert series will also support a fundraising initiative, although organizers have yet to disclose further details about the cause.

With a career spanning several decades, Valera remains one of OPM’s most respected figures, known for classics such as ‘Naaalala Ka,’ ‘Maging Sino Ka Man,’ ‘Walang Kapalit,’ and ‘Kahit Maputi Na ang Buhok Ko.’

The tour is presented by Dulay-Roy Enterprises LLC, in cooperation with Philippine Airlines, MC Aesthetics, Nexus Collaboration, and MTS Law.
