Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid is bringing her story to the big screen with 'SONGBIRD,' a documentary that will premiere in theaters in 2027.

The singer announced the project on August 3 through her official Facebook page as part of the celebration of her 40th year in the entertainment industry.

Produced by iMusic Entertainment and GOAT Creative Studios, the documentary follows Regine as she prepares for her highly anticipated 'The Finale' concert. It also looks back on the highs and lows of her career, the sacrifices she made, and the legacy she has built over the years.

A teaser released with the announcement gives fans a preview of her concert preparations. It features Regine rehearsing with musical director Raul Mitra, where she honestly admits she still feels nervous before performing.

The video also includes special moments from her life, such as childhood photos, memories with her late father Mang Gerry, scenes from past performances, and family moments with her husband Ogie Alcasid and their son Nate.
