The holidays in the Philippines have always meant reunions, getaways, and long lines at the airport. With October marking the start of the peak travel season, the country’s skies are about to get even busier. To meet this demand, Philippine Airlines has expanded its domestic flights across key routes, giving travelers more flexibility as they plan their trips.

From Butuan to Cagayan de Oro, Dumaguete to Tacloban, PAL has added more weekly flights to ease the rush for seats. Leisure destinations are also in focus, with Siargao, Boracay, and Coron seeing stronger connections from Manila, Cebu, and Clark. For those heading to Iloilo, larger aircraft will be flying on select schedules starting December, offering more room for passengers during the holiday rush.

This October alone, PAL is set to operate 1,154 weekly flights out of Manila, a 7% increase compared to the previous period. The move translates to more than 14,000 additional weekly seats, giving passengers better chances to secure flights during Undas, Christmas, and New Year—some of the busiest travel times for Filipinos.

With airports expected to be packed, PAL is encouraging travelers to arrive at least three hours before domestic flights and four hours before international departures.
