OPM band Over October announced the departure of rhythm guitarist Anton Rodriguez on Sunday, marking another lineup change as the group moves forward with fewer members.

In a statement posted on Facebook, the band said Anton would no longer be part of the group, citing differences in their respective paths.

“Sadly, our paths are no longer aligned. We wish him all the best as he focuses on other priorities,” the band said.

The announcement follows the previously confirmed departure of drummer Janessa Geronimo, who is set to leave at the end of October. The band's major concert at New Frontier Theater earlier this month served as Janessa's farewell show.

Despite the changes, Over October expressed gratitude to their fans, known as the “Octobears,” for their continued support as the band enters a new chapter.

The group is expected to continue as a trio, with vocalist Josh Buizon, lead guitarist Joshua Lua, and bassist Joric Canlas remaining in the lineup.

Formed in 2014, Over October is known for songs such as ‘Ikot,’ ‘Dahan,’ and ‘Bitin.’
