Ogie Alcasid is inviting fathers to relax, sing along, and enjoy good music at his upcoming concert, 'Daddyokie: A Father’s Day Concert,' happening on June 19 and 20 at the Proscenium Theater in Makati.

During a press conference, the singer shared that the concert will feature songs from his generation, including classic hits from Earth, Wind & Fire, APO songs, and other favorites that many dads grew up listening to. He described the show as a nostalgic throwback for his fellow “ka-batch” and younger fathers.

“The concept is papakantahin ko mga Tatay. It is a chance for the daddies to jam,” he said.

The OPM icon also explained that the concert will be interactive and fun, similar to a big party where the audience can sing, laugh, and enjoy the night together.

In celebration of Father’s Day, he will also honor his late father by performing 'My Way,' a song his father loved to sing during videoke sessions. He also shared a touching memory about recording a video of his parents together during Christmas before his father passed away in 2021.

Joining him as guest performers are Bela Padilla and Karylle.
