A new P-pop group is starting strong. Davao-based boy band AYO has dropped their pre-debut single 'I’m Him' under Sony Music Philippines, giving fans a first look at their sound and style.

The seven-member group—Justin, Renzo, GV, TJ, Enzo, Zack, and Patrick—was introduced in December 2025 as part of the label’s new wave of artists. Alongside other rising acts from Davao, AYO represents a fresh and diverse side of P-pop that continues to grow across the country.

'I’m Him' highlights the group’s identity and confidence. The track talks about knowing who you are and being proud of it. AYO shared that while each member has different strengths and backgrounds, they choose to use these differences to become stronger as a group.

The song was produced by Paolo Lofranco and features an upbeat hip-hop sound. The members also took part in writing and shaping the track, showing their passion for making their own music as early as their pre-debut stage.

The release comes with a music video created by ODS Productions, filmed in a warehouse and on a helipad. With this first release, AYO is already showing big potential—and they’re just getting started.
