Renowned Grammy-winning &lsquo;70s-&lsquo;80s singer Michael Bolton recently shared unexpected news about his health on January 6 through an Instagram post.
The 70-year-old artist revealed that he had been diagnosed with a brain tumor late last year, leading to immediate surgery. Despite facing challenging circumstances, Bolton expressed gratitude for the success of the surgery and the support he has received from his medical team, family, and fans.
In his heartfelt social media post, Bolton shared, &ldquo;Just before the holidays, it was discovered that I had a brain tumor, which required immediate surgery. Thanks to my incredible medical team, the surgery was a success.&rdquo;
He added, &ldquo;For the next couple of months, I will be devoting my time and energy to my recovery, which means I&rsquo;ll have to take a temporary break from touring.&rdquo;
Despite the challenges, he assured his supporters that he is diligently working on speeding his recovery up to return to the stage as soon as possible.
Bolton had scheduled tours supposedly set across the United States from February to March 2024. As of now, specific details regarding the rescheduling of the artist's shows and his anticipated return to performing have not been announced.
