Filipino theater icons Lea Salonga and Rachelle Ann Go headline the cast of the upcoming 'Les Misérables: World Tour Spectacular,' which will arrive in the Philippines early next year. The production expands the hit staged concert of the musical, based on the beloved story by Claude-Michel Schönberg and Alain Boublil.

The musical follows the journey of Jean Valjean and his long struggle for freedom as he is chased by police inspector Javert. Set in 19th-century France, 'Les Misérables' has been praised worldwide since its West End and Broadway debut, winning major awards including eight Tony Awards.

Lea, who previously played Éponine and Fantine on Broadway and in London, will now take on Madame Thénardier. Rachelle returns as Fantine, a role she performed on the West End, across the UK and Ireland, and during the 2016 Manila run at The Theatre at Solaire. The concert will once again be held at the same venue this January.

The cast also includes West End stars Gerónimo Rauch as Valjean and Jeremy Secomb as Javert, joined by Filipino performers Red Concepción and Emily Bautista, who will reprise their roles as Thénardier and Éponine. Supporting them is a full ensemble of international and Filipino talents, as well as Filipino musicians who will play Schönberg’s music live.

GMG Productions chief Carlos Candal said the team is honored to bring the world tour to Manila and is proud to showcase strong Filipino representation onstage and in the orchestra. 'Les Misérables: World Tour Spectacular' runs at The Theatre at Solaire from January 20 to March 1, 2026.
