The 2025 MTV Video Music Awards is shaping up to be a big night for pop with the release of this year’s nominations! Lady Gaga leads the VMAs with 12 nods, including Artist of the Year and Best Album for her hit record, ‘Mayhem.’ Close behind is her ‘Die with a Smile’ collaborator Bruno Mars, who earned 11 nominations for the chart-topping duet and his other standout single, ‘APT.,’ featuring K-pop star Rosé.

‘Die with a Smile’ will also go head-to-head for Video of the Year against other hits like Billie Eilish’s ‘Birds of a Feather,’ Kendrick Lamar’s diss track ‘Not Like Us,’ and Sabrina Carpenter’s ‘Manchild.’

Meanwhile, queens of pop Beyoncé and Taylor Swift are once again in the running for Artist of the Year—a category they dominate, with a whopping 30 career VMAs each. They'll be facing off against Kendrick Lamar, Bad Bunny, Morgan Wallen, and The Weeknd.

Fans can vote online in 19 categories, and winners will be revealed on September 7.
