The award giving ceremony was held on March 24. It was her husband TJ Monterde presented her award.&nbsp;
She said that after being in the music industry for so long, the art of making music shouldn't be limited. The art was never meant to exist within permission.
KZ further explained that she decided to break the rules in order to be heard as a singer and as a woman who is not easily categorized and limited in doing what she wants to do. Women are given an opportunity to change the world at the moment that they decide that they do not need validation or approval from other people in order to be heard.</body></html>
