Justin Timberlake is getting backlash after his performance at the Electric Castle Festival in Romania on July 17. Fans say he barely sang, showed up 45 minutes late, and let the crowd sing most of the songs. Many videos online show the singer just walking around the stage while pointing the mic at the audience.

At one point, he told the crowd, “I’m trying to stay warm. Is the rain always like this in the summer? No? So y’all cooked this up for me? Thanks.”

Fans were not happy. Some said the concert felt like karaoke, while others asked for refunds. Comments online included, “This performance could’ve been an email” and “You only sang five words per song.”

However, some fans defended him. One commenter said, "Saw him in February in Detroit. He was absolutely amazing! The performance was high energy for 2 hours straight...dancing and singing! I would go see him again in a heartbeat! Love JT!!!"

This isn’t the first time Justin has upset fans this year. In February, he canceled his final U.S. tour stop in Ohio just 12 minutes before showtime due to the flu, which also sparked backlash.

The singer is still on his 'Forget Tomorrow World Tour,' which ends on July 30 in Istanbul, Turkey.
