In April, US rock legends Incubus revealed that their ninth studio album—and first since 2017’s ‘8’—is finished and ready for release.

Lead singer Brandon Boyd had already told Flux FM about the new album, saying, “I think it’s a really great record, and I’m really proud of it. Everyone in the band is proud of it too. We had a great time making it.”

This is also the band’s first album with new bassist Nicole Row. Boyd said she’s “quickly become a big part of the band,” has “great ideas,” and is “a breath of fresh air.”

The band was in London this week to play their classic album ‘Morning View’ in full for a sold-out crowd at The O2. They also confirmed the new album’s title, ‘Something In The Water,’ by projecting it along the River Thames and posting about it on Instagram.

‘Something In The Water’ will be out this year, with a specific release date yet to be announced.
