Ian Veneracion is starting fresh with a new musical identity, releasing his first album ‘Searching for Stephn’ under the name ‘Stephn.’ The actor-musician says the project is a personal journey, built on sounds and lyrics he genuinely connects with. The album features four songs: ‘I Walk Alone,’ ‘Searching for Stephn,’ ‘Tryin’,’ and ‘Lights On.’

“When I sing, I am not showcasing skills [or] control of voice. I sing, as if I am at the edge of the beach. I am singing to the ocean, and hoping it hears me, my feelings. That is how I try to be when I sing,” he explained.

Ian chose the name Stephn so listeners can approach the music without thinking of ‘Ian Veneracion.’ “Mas open ka when you don’t know the name,” he said.
