Ian Veneracion is starting fresh with a new musical identity, releasing his first album &lsquo;Searching for Stephn&rsquo; under the name &lsquo;Stephn.&rsquo; The actor-musician says the project is a personal journey, built on sounds and lyrics he genuinely connects with. The album features four songs: &lsquo;I Walk Alone,&rsquo; &lsquo;Searching for Stephn,&rsquo; &lsquo;Tryin&rsquo;,&rsquo; and &lsquo;Lights On.&rsquo;

&ldquo;When I sing, I am not showcasing skills [or] control of voice. I sing, as if I am at the edge of the beach. I am singing to the ocean, and hoping it hears me, my feelings. That is how I try to be when I sing,&rdquo; he explained.
Ian chose the name Stephn so listeners can approach the music without thinking of &lsquo;Ian Veneracion.&rsquo; &ldquo;Mas open ka when you don&rsquo;t know the name,&rdquo; he said.
