Pop singer Gigi de Lana alarmed fans after collapsing onstage during a performance at Peñaplata Freedom Park in Samal, Davao del Norte, on Saturday, March 7. Videos shared on social media showed the singer fainting, with audience members reacting in shock as she was caught by a bouncer.

Her management, Tritone Entertainment, confirmed that de Lana is now stable and resting. They said the singer had been feeling unwell and was extremely fatigued but still chose to perform for her fans. “She experienced extreme fatigue and briefly passed out after her final song. She received immediate care and is now safe and resting,” the statement read.

Tritone praised de Lana for her professionalism, noting that she honored her commitment despite not feeling well. “This reflects the deep respect and professionalism she has for her audience,” the agency said, adding their gratitude for the messages and prayers sent by fans.

This is not the first time de Lana caused concern. In May 2023, she fainted during a performance in Ilocos Norte, shortly after a car accident with her band. The singer has also openly shared past struggles with bulimia, highlighting her challenges beyond the stage.
