In an interview with ABS-CBN News, producer Kylee Dioneda apologized for the confusion, stating, "Unang-una po sa lahat, humihingi po ako ng pasensya sa mga nangyari." She acknowledged that it was a case of miscommunication due to the event's delays.
Castro expressed concern about the online backlash, saying, "We started to see a lot of hate messages, or mentions." He stressed the need to clarify the situation and avoid further confusion or judgments from fans.
