Filipino alternative band fitterkarma is gearing up for a major new chapter, with the release of their debut album and a special one-night concert at the Metropolitan Theater Manila this September.

The band’s first full-length record, titled 'kung tayo'y nasa isang horror na pelikula, tiyak ako ang una mong papatayin,' is set for release on September 9, 2026. The album title was first teased at the end of the music video for their latest single, 'maryclaire,' before being revealed alongside the announcement of their upcoming concert.

Ten days after the album’s release, the band will take the stage at the Metropolitan Theater Manila on September 19 for a one-night concert. The band will be joined by string quartet The Manila String Machine for the special performance, with the setlist expected to feature songs from the upcoming album.

The upcoming album will include 'Purgatoryo,' the band’s latest single, alongside their earlier hits 'Kalapastangan' and 'Pag-Ibig ay Kanibalismo II,' which have helped establish fitterkarma as one of the Philippines’ rising alternative acts.
