October 20, 2026

Cup of Joe, Ben&Ben, and Janine Berdin have joined the growing list of Filipino artists seeking recognition at the 69th Grammy Awards in 2027.

The alternative rock band submitted its song ‘Sandali’ for consideration in the Best Asian Pop Music Performance category, announcing the news through its social media pages on October 16.

Describing the track as a song about finding more time with the people who matter, Cup of Joe also thanked its fans, known as Joewahs, for their continued support.

Meanwhile, Berdin submitted ‘ANTOXIC,’ a track from her album ‘LAB SONGS NG MGA TANGA,’ for consideration in the same category. The submission follows the success of her first major solo concert.

They join fellow Filipino artists Maymay Entrata, Carmelle Collado, Khimo Gumatay, and girl group Baby Dolls, who have also submitted entries for Best Asian Pop Music Performance. Their entries include Entrata’s ‘Masunog Man,’ Collado’s ‘Morena,’ Gumatay’s ‘Isayaw Mo Lang,’ and Baby Dolls’ viral hit ‘Oohh Lala Baby.’

P-pop groups SB19 and BINI are also vying for recognition in the category, with ‘VISA’ and ‘Unang Kilig,’ respectively.

Beyond Asian pop, SB19 submitted ‘Lawless’ for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, while Ben&Ben submitted a reimagined version of ‘Leaves.’ BINI is also seeking consideration for Best New Artist and Best Song Written for Visual Media with ‘A Parallel World.’

Submissions do not guarantee nominations, as entries must undergo the Recording Academy’s review and voting process.

The 2027 Grammy nominations will be announced on November 16, 2026, ahead of the ceremony on February 7, 2027, in Los Angeles.
