All five members of NewJeans have announced plans to return to their label, Ador, after months of legal conflict. Hanni, Danielle, and Minji released a statement saying they have decided to come back after careful discussion. This followed an earlier announcement from Ador saying only Hyein and Haerin would return, which led fans to worry that the group might split.

The group has been in a legal battle with Ador after accusing the label of mistreatment and manipulation. Ador denied these claims, and a South Korean court later ruled that the group’s contract with the label—valid until 2029—remains in force. NewJeans said it would appeal, though legal experts believe the chances of overturning the ruling are low.

Despite this tension, all members now say they want to continue under Ador. The label asked fans to give the girls warm support and avoid speculation, while the three members said they announced their decision separately because one of them was currently abroad. Their legal representative has not made further comments on the case.

NewJeans, formed in 2022, rose quickly with hits like “Attention” and “SuperShy.” Their legal fight forced them into a long break, and their attempt to release music under the temporary name NJZ was blocked by an injunction.
