Dear DJ Chloe,
Nakikinig ako lagi sa Spotify mo rito sa probinsya at since sinosolo ko lang kung ano ang nasa puso ko, I decided to send this to you para magkaroon man lang ako ng kausap.
I am in my senior years already, DJ Chloe. Maayos naman ang kalagayan ko dahil may pension ako na iniwan ng asawa ko at pinadadalhan naman ako ng mga anak ko. Pinatayuan ako ng mga anak ko ng bahay dito sa probinsya namin. Okay ang pamumuhay ko kasama ang isa kong anak na lalaki na piniling maging single na lang.
I have six children and I was 35 years old when my husband died. Naiwan ako nang malaki ang responsibilidad sa anim naming mga anak. The younger was five years old, then and hindi ko alam kung paano harapin ang pagpapalaki sa kanila kaya iniwan ko ang mga anak ko sa nanay ko at ako ay nagtrabaho bilang kasambahay sa City, at doon ko nakilala si Roberto, the father of my two other younger children and that makes them all eight.
I had my first child with Roberto, adopted by his sister because I was afraid to live my life like this, pero nadagdagan pa ng isa. This time, I kept the baby and went back to my mother and my other children. Meanwhile, my older children (four of them) lived with our relatives in Manila to finish their education. They where able to finish their education and help their younger siblings, too, with their education. Some graduated and had good jobs and some did not.
Sa haba ng panahon, DJ Chloe, namuhay ako nang ganito na hindi ko talaga nagampanan ang role ko or responsibilidad ko sa mga anak ko at hindi ko rin ikinuwento sa kanila ang totoong mga pangyayari sa buhay namin noon/sa buhay ko noon. Hindi ko alam. Siguro, dahil bata pa ako nang iniwan ng tatay nila at very vulnerable.
