Pop star Chappell Roan has officially left Wasserman, the talent agency led by Casey Wasserman. The move comes after Casey Wasserman’s name appeared in newly released documents linked to the Jeffrey Epstein case. The issue has sparked fresh criticism and public attention.

In a statement posted on Instagram, the 'Hot To Go!' singer said the decision was based on his personal values and professional responsibility. “Starting today, I am no longer represented by Wasserman,” Roan wrote. He added that no artist or employee should be asked to ignore actions that go against their moral beliefs.

Although Roan did not directly mention Jeffrey Epstein, the decision follows reports that Wasserman’s name appeared in documents connected to the case. The documents included email exchanges with Ghislaine Maxwell in 2003. Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for her role in trafficking minors for Epstein. Wasserman has denied having any business or personal relationship with Epstein, though he admitted he once flew on Epstein’s private plane for a humanitarian trip in 2002.

Roan is not the only artist speaking out. Indie rock band Wednesday and rock group Beach Bunny have also expressed concern and distanced themselves from the agency. Roan said he feels a duty to protect his team and hopes his decision encourages accountability and real change in the entertainment industry.
