As fans count down to BTS&rsquo; big 2026 comeback, RM shared that the road to getting here wasn&rsquo;t smooth. In fact, the group went through moments where they seriously wondered if they should keep going at all.

During a Weverse live, RM opened up about how heavy things felt during their long break. He said that the members talked many times about possibly ending the group or stopping activities for a long period. According to him, they thought about this &ldquo;tens of thousands of times.&rdquo;
But what kept them together, RM explained, was their strong friendship and the support they continue to feel from fans. &ldquo;Our love for each other, and for everyone watching this live, is what keeps this team moving,&rdquo; he shared.
RM also gave a small update on their comeback preparations. The members recently practiced together, and right now they&rsquo;re dividing their time between filming new content and attending rehearsals. He said they will show everything once they feel ready.
BTS&rsquo; next album is expected to drop in March 2026. It will be their first full group album in almost six years, following 2020&rsquo;s BE.
On top of that, reports say the group is planning a huge world tour for 2026. Bloomberg mentioned that they might hold around 65 shows worldwide, with over 30 of those stops in North America. If confirmed, this will be BTS&rsquo; first full-group tour since the massive Permission to Dance on Stage concerts that drew more than four million fans.
