Three out of four BLACKPINK members are entering their new solo eras, with Jennie, Lisa, and Jisoo all announcing upcoming music releases within days of each other.
Jennie announced on August 24 that her new EP, ‘Fallen Angel,’ will drop digitally on August 28. The three-track release features the title track ‘Fallen Angel,’ alongside ‘Less than a Lover’ and ‘Heaven.’ A physical edition will follow with three additional songs: ‘Sweettooth,’ ‘Lockitdown,’ and ‘Face,’ with the latter being newly unveiled.
Lisa is also preparing for her next solo chapter with her second EP, ‘Press Play,’ scheduled for October 23. Its lead single, ‘SaWaDiKa,’ will drop on September 3. The project follows her 2025 debut album ‘Alter Ego’ and is described as a personal celebration of her Thai roots and journey as a global artist.
Meanwhile, Jisoo has announced ‘Click,’ set for release on September 4. A horror-themed teaser featuring a mysterious carnival has already fueled anticipation for the new song, which marks her first solo release since ‘Eyes Closed,’ her 2025 collaboration with Zayn Malik.
The back-to-back announcements mean three out of four of BLACKPINK are currently gearing up for new solo music, while Rosé remains the only member yet to announce a new project following her ‘rosie’ era and global hit ‘APT.’ Her recent studio photos, however, have sparked speculation that she may also be working on new material.
The announcements come shortly after BLACKPINK celebrated their anniversary, adding another layer of excitement for fans. With Jennie, Lisa, and Jisoo launching new eras almost simultaneously, the group’s individual careers are once again taking the spotlight while fans wait for Rosé’s next move.
