Filipino music stars gathered at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on October 6 for the second Filipino Music Awards, bringing together artists, fans, and some of the biggest names in OPM.

The awards night recognized the artists and songs that made an impact on Filipino music, with BINI, SB19, Maki, and other performers taking home major awards.

The ceremony was hosted by Billy Crawford, KC Montero, and Joey Mead King, who led the night filled with performances and celebrations of Filipino music.

BINI was one of the biggest winners of the night, receiving two major awards: Tour of the Year for their ongoing Signals World Tour 2026 and Artist of the Year. Members Jhoanna and Maloi accepted the awards on behalf of the group.

SB19 also had a big night, winning three awards: People’s Choice–Artist, People’s Choice–Song for 'VISA,' and Concert of the Year for Wakas At Simula: The Trilogy Concert Finale, which was held in Parañaque City last April.

During their acceptance speeches, the five members of SB19 thanked their fans for their continued support and shared their pride in representing OPM.

Meanwhile, Maki won Album of the Year for his 2025 album KOLORCOASTER. Maki attended the early part of the ceremony and performed some of his songs but was unable to accept the award himself. ABS-CBN Music executives accepted it on his behalf.

Rising alternative rock band fitterkarma was named Breakthrough Artist of the Year. The group is known for their song 'Pag-Ibig ay Kanibalismo II.'

Skusta Clee and Flow G won Song of the Year for their collaboration 'Since Day One.' The two also performed the song near the end of the ceremony.

The awards also honored some of the most respected names and organizations in Filipino music through the Legacy Awards.

Regine Velasquez received the Lifetime Achievement Award for her decades-long contribution to Filipino music. The Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mang-aawit (OPM) received the Music Foundation Award, while ABS-CBN was named Music Company of the Year.

The late Francis Magalona was also honored with the Tribute Award for his lasting influence on Filipino music and culture.
