P-pop sensation BINI has officially made history and captured the attention of the Philippine Senate. The eight-member girl group, Aiah, Maloi, Jhoanna, Mikha, Colet, Gwen, Sheena, and Stacey became the first Filipino act ever to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California, one of the world’s biggest and most prestigious music events.

On Wednesday, May 6, 2026, the group appeared before lawmakers during a plenary session as senators unanimously adopted Senate Resolution No. 2370 to honor their groundbreaking achievement.

“Sa kauna-unahang pagkakataon, isang Filipino act ang nagtanghal sa isa sa pinakamalaking music festivals sa buong mundo. Masasabi natin na ang tagumpay na ito ay isang ‘Salamin’ ng galing at talento ng Pilipino sa pandaigdigang entablado,” said Sen. Bam Aquino, the resolution’s author, praising BINI for putting Filipino talent firmly on the global stage.

BINI didn’t just make waves on stage, they made a digital splash too. The group ranked 3rd among Top Coachella Artists based on Earned Media Value, with online engagement only 2nd to Justin Bieber.

The momentum continues: BINI is set to launch their “Signals” world tour and headline at the 2026 Summer Sonic Festival in Japan this August, bringing their signature P-pop energy to fans worldwide.
