Another music icon’s story is making its way to the big screen, as singer-songwriter Billy Joel announced that his documentary is set to premiere this summer. And So It Goes will follow the career and personal journey of the iconic “Piano Man.”

Susan Lacy, the co-director and producer of the film, said, “I was drawn to his story as someone who knew little at the outset and was astounded [by] how autobiographical his songs are and how complex his story is.” Viewers can expect never-before-seen performances by Billy Joel, rare home movies, personal photographs, and interviews that share the stories behind his hit songs, including Uptown Girl, Honesty, and New York State of Mind.
