Beyonc&eacute; and her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, have some exciting news to share! They're going to be in a movie together called "Mufasa: The Lion King." This was announced by Disney when they showed the first trailer on April 29, 2024.
In the movie, Beyonc&eacute; will still be the voice of Queen Nala. While Blue Ivy Carter, the daughter of the singer will mark her first movie appearance be the voice of Kiara, who is the daughter of King Simba and Queen Nala.

Barry Jenkins, an award-winning director, discussed what inspired him to give Mufasa an origin story. He said in an interview that it's really cool to have Beyonc&eacute; and her daughter working together. &nbsp;&ldquo;I thought there was something really lovely about having this mother and daughter get to play together and to work together.&rdquo;
&ldquo;Beyonc&eacute; is this larger-than-life figure, but when she&rsquo;s working with her daughter, when she&rsquo;s in the room with her daughter, she&rsquo;s a mom first. So much of that energy bled into the film,&rdquo; he added.
Aside from the mother-daughter appearance, There are also some other famous actors in the movie who will join like Aaron Pierre, Kelvin Harrison Jr., John Kani, Seth Rogen, Billy Eichner, Mads Mikkelsen, and Thandiwe Newton.
The film is scheduled to hit theatres in December of 2024, and this is going to be a movie we won't want to miss!
