Ben&Ben is bringing its signature OPM sound to Thailand as the Filipino folk-pop band joins the lineup of ‘Bangkok Music City 2027’, scheduled for January 30 and 31 at Bangkok’s Charoenkrung Creative District.
The nine-member group announced the international performance through social media, expressing gratitude to their fans, known as Liwanag, for helping them reach another milestone.
“You brought us here Liwanag! Thank you,” the band shared on Instagram, celebrating the opportunity to perform at the upcoming music festival.
Ben&Ben is currently the only Filipino act announced for the event, with additional performers expected to be revealed in the coming months.
‘Bangkok Music City’ is a music conference and showcase festival designed to connect emerging Asian artists with international music industry professionals and opportunities. Its platform provides performers with a chance to introduce their music to new audiences and build connections beyond their home countries.
The announcement adds to an eventful period for Ben&Ben, which recently held ‘Saranggola: The Concert’ on October 2. The band also celebrated a win at the Filipino Music Awards on October 6, where its song ‘Lifetime Reimagined’ received the Folk Song of the Year award.
In September, the group marked its ninth anniversary with the release of ‘Nine’, a nine-track anthology album reflecting key moments throughout its musical journey.
With its upcoming appearance in Bangkok, Ben&Ben continues to bring Filipino music to international stages, giving their fans another milestone to celebrate as the band expands its reach across Asia.
