Music legend Barry Manilow has shared a heartfelt health update with fans. The 82-year-old singer-songwriter revealed that he&rsquo;s been diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer, discovered after a precautionary MRI following a long bout of bronchitis.&nbsp;
 &ldquo;The MRI discovered a cancerous spot on my left lung that needs to be removed. It&rsquo;s pure luck (and a great doctor) that it was found so early. The doctors do not believe it has spread, and I&rsquo;m taking tests to confirm their diagnosis,&rdquo; Manilow said in an Instagram post.
Due to the upcoming surgery and recovery time, Barry has rescheduled several January concerts from his farewell tour. Despite the change of plans, Manilow expressed his excitement to be back performing his greatest hits like &lsquo;Mandy,&rsquo; &lsquo;Somewhere Down The Road,&rsquo; and &lsquo;Even Now,&rsquo; for his fans soon.
