A night of lambing, hugot, and highschool memories: Silent Sanctuary marks its anniversary with Gabi ng Lambing: The 24th Anniversary Concert
October 26, 2026

Last night, October 25, Silent Sanctuary concluded Gabi ng Lambing: The 24th Anniversary Concert with Reverse Day 2, a night filled with music, kilig, hugot, and nostalgia. But why is it called Reverse Day 2? Here's the story behind it.

Originally scheduled for October 25, the concert added an earlier show on October 24 after tickets sold out almost immediately, giving more fans the chance to celebrate the band's 24 years in the music industry.

More than just a concert, Gabi ng Lambing was an interactive experience that began with a pre-show audience camera capturing concertgoers posing for relatable categories inspired by love, heartbreak, and hugot.

Joined by the Manila Symphony Orchestra and Viva Voce, Silent Sanctuary opened with Hay Naku, their 2009 lead single from Mistaken for Granted, followed by the iconic heartbreak anthem Rebound.

Special guests Steve Badiola of Typecast performed Oh My Lover and Will You Ever Learn, while Soapdish frontman Jeff Bolivar joined the band with their hit song Pwede Ba and Tensionado. Despite being injured, Ashley Gosiengfiao was also present to sing Meron Nang Iba, the hit song on which she performed the original vocals with the band.

The night was filled with unforgettable romantic moments as several concertgoers proposed during the song Sa'yo, while another proposed in front of the band during the song 14. The newly engaged couples even received certificates from the band commemorating their special moments.

Adding to the nostalgia, fans arrived wearing their old school uniforms and prom outfits, bringing back memories of high school, young love, and the songs that defined their teenage years. Silent Sanctuary recognized and rewarded those who made the extra effort to dress up.

As the concert approached its finale, the band invited everyone to stand and jump to Ikaw Lamang, turning the venue into a celebration of shared memories and timeless music. The crowd responded with the energy of people who had waited years to sing these songs together again. As voices joined in and the audience jumped to the music, the venue transformed into one big reunion of old memories and familiar feelings.

Congratulations to Silent Sanctuary on 24 years of making music that continues to touch hearts! Here's to more years of lambing, hugot, and songs that remind us of the people we loved and the memories we will never outgrow.

The years may pass, but the lambing, the hugot, and the high school memories will always remain. Happy 24th anniversary, Silent Sanctuary!
