  To celebrate the yearly occasion, our team decided to give everyone a little prank.

  It was all a silly play. But, much to our surprise – we reached thousands of reactions and comments!

  Some were fooled:

  

  Good thing, DJ Samantha was there to reassure us!

  

  Even creative director and son of Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano – Paolo expressed that he was affected by this joke we pulled. (Sorry na po, Direk Paolo!)

  

  Lyka Barista, a DJ of 101.1 Yes! The Best Manila, who also may or may not have known about this being a prank, expressed how she’ll miss her fellow DJs from the station. (Nasa tabi tabi lang kami, Lyka B! ‘Di kami mawawala. Hahaha!)

  A few were upset (or nanggigil 😅) with how they were tricked:

  

  James was one of the netizens who first came across the prank. (Sorry na po, James. Huehue.)

  

  Hans Cristian Galendez, an online content creator, expressed how he just recently made content dedicated to the station:

  We’ve been a staple on the road – which is enough reason for us not to go anywhere.
