The story behind Michael Learns To Rock

The ‘Michael’ in their band name Michael Learns to Rock is not from Mikkel Lents but it’s from the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

“Because he is the King of Pop when we started so we need to have his name in our band because that’s just too cool,” said Jascha.

The members of the famous trio, Jascha, Mikkel and Kare have completely different choice music. Mikkel’s influences were the songs of Bee Gees and ABBA while Kare were Bob Marley and Stevie Wonder. Though having some differences in music favorites, they were able to make hit songs like “The Actor”, “Paint My Love”, “25 Minutes” and many more.
