The Manila Broadcasting Company has now launched the second edition of Aliwan Fiesta Digital Queen.

This online pageant is distinct from the Reyna ng Aliwan. The annual festivities will remain on hold due to certain restrictions against the spread of COVID-19. MBC promised that the search for Aliwan’s Festival Queen will remain part of the mammoth cultural spectacle dubbed as the Philippines’ grandest fiesta—the Aliwan Fiesta.

MBC also described 2021 Aliwan Fiesta Digital Queen as venue where hopes and dreams of beauteous and talented Filipinas remain alive, “catapulting them into the spotlight, and enabling them to further inspire and influence today’s youth by harnessing the power of digital media to serve as exemplary models in the community.”

Aliwan Fiesta Digital Queen is open to aspirants 16-28 years old, single, with pleasing personality, must have been born biologically female, and currently holding Filipino citizenship. Twelve (12) finalists will be selected afterwards—four candidates each from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Finalists will be formally announced on August 27, 2021.

The Final 12 will compete on weekly segments namely the Pride of Place, the Talent and Skills competition, Queens for a Cause, and the Evening Gown Competition coupled with the Question-and Answer portion.
