Aliwan Fiesta Digital Queen 2022 Top 12 Finalists wow judges in Talent and Skills competition

The Top 12 candidates of Aliwan Fiesta Digital Queen 2022 entertained the judges and online viewers with a one-of-a-kind talent presentation on Saturday, October 15.
Hosted by Love Radio Manila’s DJ Raqi Terra and Easy Rock Manila’s DJ Nick, this is the second leg of the competition where the candidates can showcase their talents and skills in the form of visuals and the arts, craft and design, or culinary expertise.
Donned in a white vintage dress, Province of Ilocos Norte’s Sophia Noreen Guillermo opened the performances with a powerful rendition of Chaka Khan’s smash hit Through The Fire.
The viewers were touched when Cebuana charmer Nadine Faith McCoy showed her vocal prowess in an acoustic cover of Moira Dela Torre’s Kumpas while playing the guitar.
Next off is Dana Gabrielle Tautho of Davao City who exhibited her flawless moves through a number of jaw-dropping magic tricks.
In front of Museo de Guinobatan, Albayanon beauty Kristell Candice Pagdagdan leaned in on a variety show experience with a song and ballroom dance number of Ava Max’s Kings and Queens and Aqua’s I’m A Barbie Girl, respectively.
Bacolod City’s Jeaven Iyl Musni brought the Masskara Festival to the viewers in advance as she merrily performed a street dance wearing a colorful light-up costume. Masskara Dance Festival is held every fourth Saturday of October as a declaration of Bacolodnons’ courage and optimism.
The audiences were floored as another Cebuana stunner, Jackelaine Fleming, expressed her emotions and impressive storytelling skills through a contemporary dance of the chart-topping Rewrite The Stars.
The competition continued with a cultural dance Binasuan interpreted by Martina Mikaela De La Rama of Buenavista, Agusan Del Norte. Binasuan is a colorful and lively Filipino folk dance which shows off the balancing skills of the dancers often performed at weddings, birthdays, and fiestas.
A great follow-up to her launch and pride of place presentation, Marikit Manaois manifested the breathtaking views from the mountains of Baguio City while singing Huminga, Baguio like an invitation to breathe culture, creativity, nature, and wellness.
While in a floral ensemble, Nueva Ecija representative Maica Martinez dedicated her Heal The World saxophone cover to her fellowmen affected by Super Typhoon Karding. Leaving an inspiring message, she says, “Bangon, Nueva Ecija. Kaya Natin ‘To!”
The third Cebuana representative, Thañamae Cahilig, treated the audience with sexiness and fierceness as she showed a masterful electric guitar cover of You Give Love A Bad Name.
Nikki Shannen Ortega of Davao City oozed with hotness and grace in an interpretive dance of the slow, sexy, and smooth Earned It.Caramoan, Camarines Sur pride Kassandra Avena capped off the show with a fiery dance routine to the music of This Is Me and Dance Again.
The winner of Pride of Place Citation shall receive ₱10,000. The decision lies in the panel of judges consisting of radio broadcaster Deo Macalma, pageant blogger Tristan Harvey Francisco, Miss Aura International 2021 Alexandra Faith Garcia, Actress Ana Abad-Santos, Tanduay Digital Brand Manager Edzel Ty, and ACS Media Agency representative Allen Yotoko.
The Top 12 candidates will next pour their heart out in the Queens For A Cause competition on October 22, 2022. This will be streamed live on Aliwan Fiesta’s Facebook page and on all social media platforms of MBC: DZRH, Love Radio, Yes The Best, Easy Rock, Aksyon Radyo, and Radyo Natin.
