The lives of two boys who accused Michael Jackson with sexual abuse, in a documentary entitled “Leaving Neverland,” has been added to the lineup of Sundance Film Festival this  January 24- February 4, 2019.

In their recent years, the two boys, in their 30s, described how they were sexually abused by the late singer. they also added on how they came to terms with those sexual activities years later.

From producer-director Dan Reed, “Leaving Neverland” told the stories of the two boys when they were in their 7th and 10th year when they all began long term relationships with Jackson in the reign of his stardom.

On the other hand, the estate of Michael Jackson released a statement saying: “This is yet another lurid production in an outrageous and pathetic attempt to exploit and cash in on Michael Jackson… lawsuits were dismissed. This so called ‘documentary’ is just another rehash of dated and discredited allegations. It’s baffling why any credible filmmaker would involve himself with this project.”
