Irish rock band The Cranberries will release a new unplugged version of their 1993 hit single ‘Linger’ according to the Rolling Stone.

The new version of the song is from their upcoming unplugged album entitled ‘Something Else’ which features orchestral renditions of their classic songs like ‘Zombie’, ‘Dreams’ and more.

‘Something Else’ is due on April 28 and will also feature three new songs.

‘Linger’ was the first song I wrote after joining the Cranberries,” O’Riordan recalled. ‘The Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We?’ single was the band’s first major hit. “I was 18, and the youngest member of the band was 16 at the time. We never imagined it’d be such a big hit.”
