Whenever we are travelling from one country to another, it is always in the list to eat in the best restaurants and enjoy what they can offer.
Yes it is difficult to decide on where to eat because good food is always a must. Of course, you do not want to ruin your travel experience with the taste you do not want.
In his life as a celebrity chef, the late Anthony Bourdain once recommended various factors that would help everybody in finding the best restaurants.
According to Bourdain, first in the list, you must look for restaurants with no photos of food around the corner, even on the menu.

This indicates that restaurant is the place where locals go to eat.
Then, the menu should offer you minimal number of food, maximum of three, he suggests.

This is a great indicator that the chef knows the cuisine very well. Expect that everything they serve is great.
Next, dirty restrooms and pets roaming around the resto should not be the focus of attention.

It may sound lack of sanitation but the opposite is true, Bourdain said.
It says that they are focused with their food and less attention is given to some of the facilities.

Bourdain insisted to avoid anywhere large groups are eating. Following the crowd will just bring you to a bad meal experience.
Look for the local regulars that will surely bring you to the place where the result is likely to be good food.
Lastly, take a chance!
“You’re never going to get that magical meal if you’re not willing to take a chance on a bad one…” Anthony Bourdain added.
Anthony Bourdain is well known for his expertise in the culinary industry as well as in television presentations. He passed away on June 8, 2018 because of suicide by hanging.
